Vice President Kamala Harris has exposed the severity of her opinion on gun control as she praised the restrictions on firearms in Australia.
Most notably, the legal gun ownership does not exist in Australia, and citizens’ firearms were taken by the government in the ’90s.
At a luncheon honoring the Australian Prime Minister, Vice President Harris addressed the tragedy in Lewiston, Maine last night. Notably, she cited Australia as an example of a nation where mass shootings are not normal. pic.twitter.com/CMLCvp84Au

Speaking about the recent shooting in Maine, Harris said, “As we gather details, we must continue to speak truth about the moment we are in.”
“In our country today, the leading cause of death of American children is gun violence. Gun violence has terrorized and traumatized so many of our communities in the United States.”
“And let us be clear, it does not have to be this way — as our friends in Australia have demonstrated,” she added.
