Former First Lady Michelle Obama says she suffered from “uncontrollable sobbing” after President Donald Trump was elected in 2017.

In a podcast, Mrs. Obama revealed her true inner feelings during the moments of Trump’s inauguration in Washington, D.C.

“When those doors shut, I cried for 30 minutes straight, uncontrollable sobbing, because that’s how much we were holding it together for eight years,” Obama said. This was Mrs. Obama’s last trip aboard Air Force One as Trump took over power.

“There were tears, there was that emotion. But then to sit on that stage and watch the opposite of what we represented on display – there was no diversity, there was no color on that stage, there was no reflection of the broader sense of America,” Obama said.

In public, Mrs. Obama appeared stoic and emotionless on January 20, 2017. She stood with her husband alongside Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

Inside, it’s apparent that Michelle was having a meltdown, similar to many other far-left Democrats.
