One of Joe Biden’s most infamous lies was that his son, Hunter, never made money in China.
In October 2020, during a presidential debate, Biden said, “My son has not made money in terms of this thing about — what are you talking about — China. The only guy who made money from China is this guy [Donald Trump]. He’s the only one. Nobody else has made money from China.”
Left-wing fact-checkers came rushing to Biden’s defense by claiming “there is no evidence” that the Biden family received cash from China. Fast-forwarding to 2023, the Biden family’s international bribery scheme is quickly unraveling.
Appearing in federal court, Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Chris Clark, admitted the president’s son received $664,000 from CEFC China Energy Co. in 2017. Clark told Judge Noreika that Hunter made over one million dollars in foreign business transactions, including $664,000 from CEFC.
Referring to the Chinese wires, a reporter asked Biden, “Hunter Biden’s business associate sent over a million dollars to three of your family members. Any reaction to that?”
“That’s not true,” the president shot back.

During the debate in 2020, Trump argued that Biden “made a fortune in Ukraine, in China, in Moscow and various other places” because his father was influence-peddling as vice president.
“I’m proud of my son,” Biden responded in defense of his son.
Republicans in Congress have obtained the receipts, proving that the Chinese energy company CEFC, called “an arm of the Chinese Government,” paid Hunter $100,000 in 2017.
The evidence shows the Biden family has been lying all along, and Hunter is facing the consequences in court. The House Oversight Committee James Comer (R-KY) found that the Biden family received over $10 million from business schemes in Romania and China in return for what appears to be influence peddling. Hunter Biden’s company, BHR Partners, received money from a Chinese company, CEFC China Energy. According to a report by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, CEFC paid $4.8 million to BHR Partners over a 14-month period in 2016 and 2017. The payments were made through a joint venture between CEFC and Hunter Biden’s uncle, James Biden.

The payments from CEFC to BHR Partners have been the subject of much scrutiny, as some have suggested that they could have created a conflict of interest for Hunter Biden’s father, Joe Biden, who was then vice president of the United States.
Just days after Joe and Hunter Biden threatened a Chinese businessman to “fulfill his commitment” over text message, the Biden family received $5 million from the Chinese firm. Fox News confirmed that “a bank account linked to President Biden’s son Hunter Biden received more than $5 million in August 2017, shortly after his threatening messages.”
On July 30, 2017, Hunter used the messaging system “WhatsApp,” which is owned by Facebook’s parent company Meta, to send a threatening text to Hery Zhao, CEO of Harvest Fund Management. In the bombshell text, Hunter said he was “sitting here” with his father “and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.”
The damning evidence clearly indicates President Biden’s involvement in his son’s shady overseas influence-peddling bribery schemes. IRS Criminal Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley Jr., who oversaw the agency’s investigation into Hunter Biden, released this new information to the American people.
“Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight,” Hunter Biden wrote in the text. “And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction.”
