Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis of Fulton County is leading a criminal indictment against former President Donald Trump on charges related to challenging the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Critics have condemned the indictment as a political weaponization of the U.S. justice system. Top Democrats have taken similar action and denied election results at least 150 times, including Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Maxine Water, Stacey Abrams, and others.

Willis’ political vendetta to “get Trump” is appearing to backfire as state Republicans have moved to oust her from office. (Poll: Do You Stand With Trump? VOTE)

Georgia state Senator Colton Moore says he has enough support to impeach and remove Willis. This requires a supermajority of “3/5 of each respective house” in the state legislature.

“As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis,” Moore said. “America is under attack. I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically TARGET political opponents.”

“We, the undersigned, being duly elected members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia Senate, and comprising 3/5 of each respective house, pursuant to Article IV, Section II, Paragraph VII(b), hereby certify to you, in writing, with a copy to the Secretary of State, that in our opinion an emergency exists in the affairs of the state, requiring a special session to be convened under that section, for all purposes, to include, without limitation, the review and response to the actions of Fani Willis,” Moore said.

Referring to Republican Georgia governor Brian Kemp, Moore said, “Tell Brian Kemp and his team to turn off CNN and open their eyes. I’ve done 25 TV, radio, and podcast interviews with one identical message.” (Trending: Look How Many Times Democrats Denied Election Results Without Indictments)

“I need 3/5 of my colleagues to sign the letter,” Moore said. “The people of Georgia want action, not more empty promises from fluff politicians.”

Although Kemp is a Republican, he is accused of turning on Trump and helping Willis with his testimony to the Fulton County special grand jury in the case. Trump backed the Republican primary challenger against Kemp in 2022.

Kemp’s office refuses to support Moore’s effort to combat the wrongful political persecution of Trump. Kemps says Moore has not provided evidence that he has the necessary support to call a special session to impeach Willis.

“We have not been provided any evidence to support that assertion,” Kemp spokesman Garrison Douglas said.

“Given the governor was subpoenaed in this case in November of 2022, our office will not be commenting further,” he added, referring to Kemp’s continued involvement in the Democrats’ case against Trump. (Poll: Is CNN ‘Fake News’? VOTE)

Kemp’s senior advisers, Cody Hall, said, “Where have I heard special session, changing decades-old law, and overturning constitutional precedent before?”

“Oh right, prior to Republicans losing two Senate runoffs in January of 2021,” he added. “What are people hoping to learn in the second kick of the election-losing mule?”
