President Joe Biden is facing doubts about his ability to win the 2024 election, with concerns raised by figures such as former President Barack Obama.

Trump’s lead in polls, worries about Biden’s age, policy issues, and his son’s media distractions have contributed to these doubts.

A report by Annie Linskey cited an anonymous source in the Wall Street Journal that revealed Obama’s feelings on the issue. (Trending: Joe Biden Impeachment Formalized As Republicans Unite)

Obama reportedly questions Biden’s “prospects for next year’s election and feels that Democrats very well could lose.”

Some within the Democratic Party have also suggested that Biden should not seek reelection, fearing a potential loss to Donald Trump.

This sentiment aligns with public calls for Biden to step down, citing concerns about his ability to secure a victory.

Moreover, Hunter Biden appears to be providing “an endless media distraction,” which also reflects Obama’s thinking on the issue, the source said.

Obama’s senior adviser David Axelrod said, “It’s very late to change horses; a lot will happen in the next year that no one can predict & Biden’s team says his resolve to run is firm.”

Biden is “justly proud of his accomplishments,” Axelrod said.

Biden’s poll numbers will “send tremors of doubt” through the Democratic Party. “Not ‘bed-wetting,’” but legitimate concern, Axelrod wrote.
