Stephen A. Smith, known for antagonizing Dallas Cowboys fans, recently recounted an incident where an elderly woman punched him for mocking the team.

Despite this, he plans to further provoke fans, expressing a desire to host a show at the Cowboys’ stadium.

Smith’s disdain for the fan base stems from their perennial optimism and a personal heartbreak involving a Cowboys fan he once loved. (Trending: U.S. State Passes Personal Pronoun Ban)

Smith said, “I had an old Black lady in her 70s come up and punch me in the arm like I was Felix Unger from the Odd Couple.”

“(She said), you leave my Dallas Cowboys alone. It was adorable; what are you going to say?” he continued.

“One of my dreams is to do a show from the parking lot of AT&T Stadium during a tailgate party, before the game,” explained Smith.

“Their fans are the disgusting, nauseating fanbase that gets on my last damn nerves … I don’t think there is anything that’s really sane about them,” he added.

“I could tell you her name, doesn’t matter. The truth is, she was my first girl. My first love. And I’ll never forget her for as long as I live. Normally, you can point to the beauty: the hazel brown eyes, shoulder-length hair, the figure, the laughter, the good times,” said Smith.

“Unfortunately though, here’s what I remember most — that damn No. 33 Cowboys jersey she always wore, the same jersey she wore when she dumped me,” continued the sports personality.

This animosity has become a recurring theme in his broadcasts.
