Representative Rashida Tlaib of Michigan has called on Muslim voters in her state to send President Biden a message over his handling of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Tlaib, who has accused Biden of committing genocide in Israel and demanded he call for a ceasefire, released a video urging local activists to create a voting bloc by voting uncommitted.

“If you want us to be louder, then come here and vote uncommitted,” Tlaib said.

“It is important, as you all know, to not only march against the genocide, not only make sure that we’re calling our members of Congress and local electives and passing city resolutions all throughout our country,” Tlaib said while speaking outside an early voting location. “It is also important to create a voting bloc, something that is a bullhorn to say enough is enough. We don’t want a country that supports wars and bombs and destruction. We want to support life. We want to stand up for every single life killed in Gaza.”

She said this would serve as a “bullhorn” against a government that supports wars and destruction in Gaza.

Tlaib has been highly critical of Biden for working with Israel against Hamas and previously threatened to withhold her support from Biden in the 2024 election.

“Right now we feel completely neglected and just unseen by our government. Right now we feel completely neglected and just unseen by our government,” the “squad” Democrat continued. “If you want us to be louder, then come here and vote uncommitted.”

“Mr. President, the American people are not with you on this one,” she said.

Her latest comments represent an escalation of her ongoing feud with the White House over the war in Gaza.
