The IRS provided mandatory DEI training for criminal investigators that featured content from a transgender professor, Dafina Lazarus Stewart, who has called for “the death of whiteness.”

Stewart said, “Critical whiteness studies (CWS) in the field of higher education fails to account for … technologies of violence that characterize whiteness and which whiteness employs.”

“I theorize technologies of (white) violence as enactments of: (1) malicious white terror; (2) rhetorical white innocence, mobilized through white contempt and white transmission; and, (3) pacifying white concession,” the professor continued.

Stewart’s academic work alleges whiteness pretends to be innocent but creates terror and violence.

Stewart previously claimed, “whiteness as an ideology … reaches beyond race/racism to shape and reproduce other interlocking oppressive systems.”

The training asked questions about dominant vs subordinate cultures.

It is led by Chief Diversity Officer Carrie Holland, continuing the IRS’s DEI agenda of raising awareness of concepts like unconscious bias.

The former Chief Diversity Officer of the IRS’ Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Valerie Gunter, said, “We have a [diversity and inclusion] education program which raises awareness around [equity, diversity, and inclusion], focuses on unconscious bias prevention, and cultural competency.”

This is one example of the Biden administration aggressively pushing critical race theory and gender ideology through the federal bureaucracy, despite some advocating removing civil service protections for bureaucrats through a policy like Schedule F to empower presidents to fire those obstructing policy objectives.
