The Democratic National Committee paid $1.05 million in legal fees for President Biden relating to the investigation into his mishandling of classified documents, despite previous criticism of Trump using campaign funds for legal costs.

Special Counsel Robert Hur’s probe found Biden “willfully” kept documents but did not prosecute due to insufficient evidence, though he described Biden as forgetful.

Meanwhile, Biden’s Justice Department indicted Trump on similar charges carrying decades in prison.

Further, a member of Biden’s counsel met with the top aide to Special Counsel Jack Smith just before Smith indicted Trump, raising concerns about coordination.

Smith has postponed Trump’s trial from May with no new date, as Trump wants it after the 2024 election while Smith suggested July.

A poll found most would vote for Trump over Biden if a jury convicts the former president.
