Caitlyn Jenner criticized President Biden for declaring March 31, 2024 as Transgender Day of Visibility, which falls on Easter Sunday that year.

Jenner, a former Olympic athlete and transgender woman, said Biden should have instead declared “HE is Risen” on the holiest day in Christianity celebrated by billions worldwide.

“I am absolutely disgusted that Joe Biden has declared the most Holy of Holy days — a self proclaimed devout Catholic — as Transgender Day of Visibility,” Jenner wrote.

“The only thing you should be declaring on this day is ‘HE is Risen,’” Jenner added.

Jenner felt Biden’s proclamation preempted the religious holiday.

Biden had stated the day honors transgender Americans’ courage and contributions, and reaffirms commitment to equal treatment.

“We honor the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans and reaffirm our Nation’s commitment to forming a more perfect Union — where all people are created equal and treated equally throughout their lives,” Biden said.

“Transgender Americans are part of the fabric of our Nation,” Biden said. “Whether serving their communities or in the military, raising families or running businesses, they help America thrive.”

However, Jenner argued Biden should have acknowledged Easter Sunday’s religious significance instead of the transgender visibility day on that date.

“Hey there…it’s called Easter Sunday,” Jenner said. “The Holiest Day in the Christian faith that BILLIONS of people practice worldwide.”
